Two Houses

Nancy and I, we also had the woods
And we would like to go thru the woods
We didn't own anything beyond the road that went thru the woods
But on the other side of the road, there were two derelict houses

And we loved to go in those houses
Upstairs into the attic and find old, old newspapers and magazines
One we really laughed at must have been from the twenties
Boy Form Bras

No foolin', I don't know why women liked to look like that
Maybe that was the start of maiden form, I have no idea
But we found funny things like that

One day, we went in one of the houses
And opened the coat closet door
In the floor was lots and lots of empty pie boxes and bean cans
We got out of there pretty quick
