Nowhere TN

Sitting on old oak swing summer night with a couple drinks
Lightening bugs are dancing
While I play her favorite song

The way she looks and me and laughs
I know she knows it's really bad
But she just smiles and always sings along

Here in the middle of nowhere Tennessee
Lived a lot of places there's nowhere else id be
Where the neighbors give their shirt right off their back
And the volunteers are proud to hang that flag yeah
Right here in the middle of nowhere, nowhere Tennessee

Bible and a pearl snap shirt
Whole family Headed off to church
Waved to the Johnson's as we piled in the ford
Can't wait to get back home rocks kicking down a gravel road
Man I can taste that tea that grandmas gonna pour

Every day its the same old thing
I wouldn't trade a single thing
This little slice of heaven right outside my back door
