To Choose

I go outside, and count the butterflies
I feel the wind, as I look to the eastern sky
I know that I'm in the morning
I know that I'm in the morning

Now I see, sat beneath the sycamore tree
How to find joy, reading Tolstoy

It's what I do, when I get to choose
It's what I do, when I choose what I want to
I see the same birds everyday
I see the same ones that choose to stay
I sing the same words everyday
I sing the same words in a different way

"One and all" we cheer in the mead-hall
"Yeghes da", "Gothewhar da"
I know that I'm in the evening
I know I'm in the evening
A waterfall, a trip to Tintagel
A holy well, there's many stories that they tell

It's what I do, when I get to choose
It's what I do, when I choose what I want to
I see the same birds everyday
I see the same ones that choose to stay
I sing the same words everyday
I sing the same words in a different way

I feel that winter's in the air
I've got to tell the ones I love how much I care
And to remember one thing
That no one knows what Spring will bring
