You come around
But its not the same
You're different than you were before the virus came
Fought so long to get us through this thing
And how did I seem to lose everyone I know
Cause even those who stayed just put on a show
Our money is gone and so is our bond

Chickadees playing gently
Full of glee wondering what it'd be like to be
Stress-free as far as I can see
A year ago they're all I see
My only company that doesn't live behind the screen
Now you're here but I still feel unseen

Yea the virus hit some of our lungs
But it killed everyones soul
Oh there is no cure for true colours
That been brought out
