Said I woke up this morning
Looked into the mirror
Picture used to be muggy
But now it's getting clearer
I examine myself
Big nose and all
Thank my Grandpa Joe
For these ears, and being so tall
Widows peak coming in
So I grab my dad hat
Until I can hit the barbershop
And get my lining back
Used to be insecure about
Being a big dude
Because when depression hit
I found comfort in food
So over the years I put on weight
Way more than expected
Beer gut strong
But it looked like
I was five months pregnant
Then I found out
I was stressing
But didn't have a reason
Cause every year
There will always be
Big boy season
Over the years
My appearance
I've learned to accept
Cause self love
Is the best love
So don't you forget
Anybody downing you
Is insecure about themselves
They tryna project that hate on you
They got from somebody else, but

These name brands don't make you

I still look and feel better
And I shop at Citi Trends
So be who you are
