I'm a Bird Now

There once was a boy named Little Jerimiah
He was the nephew of an inventor
His dream was to fly and become a bird
His uncle, taking that information, created a jetpack
Just for him
It did not go so well
Do you know what he said

I'm flying off in my new jetpack
Envy the machine that's on my back
Watch me fly like I'm a bird
All the girls screaming have you heard
Open up my Facebook app
Change my status to where I'm at
Now I'm off, going to the west
Settle down in my little nest
Find a bird that I'd like to see
Have her hunt for worms with me
Leave her behind once I am full
It's about to get very cold
I'm going head for the south
No problem for me to get out
Gonna leave my life behind
Become a bird, and hunt, and fly

Little Jerimiah's uncle built him a jetpack
Now he's gonna become a bird and never come back

Little Jerimiah's uncle built him a jetpack
Now he's gonna become a bird and never come back

I'm flying off in my new jetpack
Down to Mexico and back
Heading towards the Midwest
Gotta make that little nest
Now I'm back in that place
That I tried to get away
I saw my uncle, he said give it back
I said no, I don't work like that
He said "Please I'll do anything"
I said no, he said "Pretty please"
Told him to get on his hands and knees
He said "What do you mean?"
So I flied off, waved goodbye
My poor uncle started to cry
Gonna leave my life behind
Become a bird, and hunt, and fly

Little Jerimiah's uncle built him a jetpack
Now he's gonna become a bird and never come back

(How do you work this thing)
(Does anybody know how to turn this thing off)
(Anybody, Anybody at all, No)
(None of you have jetpacks, ok)
