When I was a little youngster
Like way back in the days
Momma had to come up on so many ways
To put food in our stomach (hustling)
I wasn't broke but we didn't have the money (struggling)
We tried to get warm up in a house with out no heat
Had to cuddle on the floor on that hard concrete (fuck)
My back was aching until one day
When I seen my momma shaking (mom, momma)
That's when I went astray
I looked her in the eyes and I said what's wrong?
She didn't reply that's when I thought momma was gone (she)
Tossing and turning breaking out in a cold sweat
I'm having premonitions of what would have happened next
If I didn't get her to the hospital would she die? (Come on)
Would it be that time when I see her face in the sky? (Her face in the sky)
I'm glad she made it and I'm proud to say she here
