Waves

I do not feel a way about you.
But, how can I part the waves without you?

I do not know the way.
I do not own a stake. I do not take.
I gave it all away.
If you could peel these wrappers layers caked.
I did it all with grace, so you can keep your down to earth.
I do it out of space.
All of these faces like watching, their clocking, tick-tocking like...
What are they peddling now?
What do they charge for it? Wow!
Shit all ends up in a row.
Understanding's a part of the crowd,
But apart from the crowd aint allowed.
Echoes a chamber infinity built, morals so high they're on stilts.
Life is a par, a reach for the stars.
A piece of the cake or the lot a la cart, I stick to my heart.

I do not feel a way about you.
But, how can I part the waves without you?

I do not know the play.
I do not surf the waves.
I only came to say "Hey".
I do not plan to stay, I won't be led astray.
I do not fly this plane, baby I'm far from great.
Despite what my Mumma might say, the model is just for display.
See you break it, you buy it, you own a defective design.
That's the intent in their eyes,
It's not like they tried to disguise...
You can see by the shade of the sky, the swell of the sea, the tide.
I stood by the beach resigned.
Fuck it I'll sink or I'll swim. I didn't just arrive upon the wind.
Please save me from diving in
In a war on my life and it's a war I intend to win

I do not feel a way about you.
But, how can I part the waves without you?
