I remember the first time we high-fived
The first time that we hugged
It felt like I had met someone I would treasure for the rest of my life
Now I usually live life fast, sporadic, constantly moving, in other words nomadic
But you, you made me slow down and take enjoyment in the little things in life
For that, I'm thankful

We've had our rough parts
But somehow we managed powered through
And we've remained stronger than ever
I think I finally understand what people meant when they said
That "when you're with them, the tough times always seem easy."
And when I with you, I'm glad

I remember apologising for the smallest things
And that always seemed to annoyed you
You wanted me to grow out of that habit, of apologising
I've been trying to, But still I saying it
Even to this day, I'm sorry

I'm sure the wisteria were blooming when we met
I'm certain that if the moon and sun collided you would still shine brighter
And leave a much larger impact on me
