When You Realize

I thought the other night you came my way
And I felt that it was fine, you heard me well
But I jumped way too fast 'cause here you were
Forgetting all we said, we're back again

And I'm shy when I've to say what bugs my soul
I'd cancel all my thoughts to keep you warm
But I know where's my line, I just let you cross it
So many many times, and now it's vague

When you realize that things have to change

But sometimes I forget that there's a process

I know that I can't force it, it wears me down
I fought it for so long to keep me strong
Detached and way too cold for my soul
No energy is left, to keep it up
