Look in a classroom and there you will see
A Morah in front, vibrant and passionate
Teaching our daughters
What Yiddishkeit means
The values we hope to transmit

With songs and with stories
The words come alive
Shabbos and Yom Tov
Tefillah and Parsha
She's lighting up Neshamos
Instilling the pride
That our girls can all feel inside

Let's stand up for the Morah
Who faces the task
Who remains with our girls
When they're grown
She's giving our nation the power to last
For each child is a world of her own

Let's stand up for the Morah
Who gives heart and soul
Every day that she's playing her part
For each mother and daughter in Klal Yisroel
Has a Morah engraved in her heart

She may not have letters that follow her name
Yet she's mastered the art of connection
The times may have changed
But her mission's the same
To bring out all the good from within

At the end of the year
At the end of the day
She takes them along
Thinks of and prays for them
Years down the line
You'll still hear Morah say
That's my student, oh what a gem
