Damned to the Deep

A final judgement,
prayer of fire, pulled to the depths
It's bellowing maw
Boiling the oceans and forcing repent
Coveting mortals
Punishing man for what it's without.
Encompassing the world from its tail to its mouth

The serpent lingers
On the branch, forbidden to rise
Sentinel to knowledge desired
Tormenting, borne by lights, so brilliant
Seduction of freedom from welcoming eyes
Lamenting, the demon thirsts for life

From waters, retire, found shelter, desired
Slain monster, raise chalice, a feast for, the righteous

Beast of envy

Tortured beast
Forged from the darkness, brought to the cusp
Colossus, provenance of the deep and terminus
Depth dwelling
Created in vain, forbidden from sight
Pierce through its skin and bathe in His light

The serpent descends
From the branch, its tongue splayed out
Facing judgment, horns towards parting of skies

From waters, retire, found shelter, desired
Slain monster, raise chalice, a feast for, the righteous

A feast for the righteous

Slain demon, deliver, penitent, deceiver

Purge the sea
Slay demon righteously
Sacred beast
Deliver unto thee
Serpents plea
Penitent to deceive
Leviathan
Damned to the deep

Damned to the sea, sinking
Down in the deep, far below
Damned to the sea, farther
Down in the deep, below the surface
