tía

I'm trying to think back to the beginning like, my first memory of you?
Probably picking you up from school or, babysitting
Well, that's the most obvious one
I used to pick you up from... kindergarten? Probably. Yeah. And what was your favorite Thing?
Oh, you tell 'em
Nutella sandwiches. Remember?
Yeah, yeah. I do
So you walked like a good half mile to my elementary school, you did that walk every Day
Every day. Rain, snow, sleet, hail
What was that routine like? Did you find like, clarity on those kinds of walks?
Oh yeah, I loved to walk. I would do it now except for my hip but... walking, for me, is my Therapy
...you know, it was a very innocent time. It was a very simple life, you know
Sometimes I try to think about that and i'm like - well how could they ever stay the Same? How could anything ever stay the same, I mean
No, life is change
It's funny to think about how different the world was
I had a good childhood, you know, I had a lot of fun, travelled... I had a good life. More Yet to come

What would you... say a random person, what would you want them to take out of life Being that you're 70 now
71. Haha
If you could say anything to a random stranger, like, what would you say are the most Important life lessons you've learned?
Go sit out side. Look at the trees, look at the clouds. Look at the birds, the animals. It's Just... simple things. Sitting out in the backyard, read a book. Just simple
When did you realize that that was important to you? Because I feel like I've really Started to learn how important that shit is
Getting older. You know I try to take one day at a time and, it'll be better tomorrow. It'll be Better, it is better. So um... Enjoy your life. Tomorrow will be good. If it's not today it's Tomorrow, you know

You think life is more about those simple things instead of those like, get the house, I Gotta get the nice car, I gotta get the this, that?
Well... you do need certain things in life. You need food, you need shelter. But just... sit Back and enjoy it. It's hard. I try not to be... I try not to be angry anymore. As long as I'm Healthy and have people around me... I mean, I could be upset about it but, I try not to Be Angry. I just don't think it's healthy, to be angry all the time
You think it's healthier to let it go?
Yeah. Well what do you think? Do you think it's healthy to be angry all the time?
I mean, no. My father always taught me that
I try to be kind, and understanding. Some people have a lot on their plate. I try to, you Know, be there for people if they need me, and I find that, if I'm there for them when I Need them they're there for me

You're a fine young man. You're caring, you care about people. How many aunts can say 'I need your help' and five minutes later you're there?
Yeah, I mean
And you grew up in the middle of tremendous turmoil in your life with your parents. You Seem to have a level head. All your brothers seem to have a level head
Thank you
Look at the talent you have. My little fellow
