Curry's Fork

Well I remember green meadows
And the stream that ran between
Curry's fork, running towards the Ohio

Well my brothers and I would go camping neath its trees
I'd take my guitar to its solace and try to bring back a piece of Curry's fork
Running towards the Ohio

Well, my parents weren't poor but they gave me so much more
I'd like to thank them for this
A place where I could play
Far from the day-to-day with nothing around to spoil it
Curry's fork, running towards the Ohio

Well, I've been back there since but it's not the place I left
Now there are houses all around it
Though its magic now rests with me only in my memories
I still want my daughters to see

Curry's fork, running towards the Ohio
