Ninth Cloud

Look at me, so damaged and destroyed
With this world's plans and its ploys to take me out
I'm on a highway directly to the moon
With no plans on stoppin' soon, I'm leavin' town

Them Christian's are talkin' so often of coffins
No heavens could top this moment now
My foot out the window and my flask halfway full
I may have to pull over soon

I can't afford a motel, but the floorboards'll work well
I'll sleep there 'til tomorrow afternoon
Then I'll get on the road again, had another chance at fittin' in
But fittin' in to kids like me is dyin'
