Poetry for the Wicked
(Read this poem 'The Hunt' while listening to the music)
"The curtain rises
In complete silence
A woman walks towards the crowd
She speaks of life
With thoughts unknown
To man at present
All of a sudden
A man appears
He speaks of life
Familiar to the crowd
A rumour starts
To follow a riot
The woman sees it all
She starts to run
Away from it all
The men know she knows
The hunt will not stop
Untill she dies
All men think they've won
Except the one
His eyes have opened
He knows he'd better not speak
So he runs away
Away from it all
(written by The Phlod-Nar)
