Intro

I stand in the metaphysical
It's luminescent the essence is pure
subliminal
I redirect and inspect it before residuals
Impact the ritual lines
With no reciprocals
Impasse in front of my path is minuscule
So I ascend and transcend it
Because it's biblical - Some call it spiritual
It's like a lesson, progression with
God's blessing with questions
About cessation
And penance we know are difficult

I'm grounded with words from afar
My feet to the streets - my hands raised high to Allah
Head turned while my demons steady battling scars;
I need light so I can hide from the dark
The light is in me - it glows from the stem of my heart
And grows to expose - where I should start
So I'm off on a journey that I've yet to depart
I pray to God that I can handle my part

Look

My ark is to move like beast
And keep it discreet, my highs and even defeats
Stay humble is the message emanating from me;
Quashed pride but my hunger is deep
Live and you'll see - the twists and the turn are the key
Even in havoc my static moves dramatic and free
But like a rabbit I'm savage for the carrots and cream
Stay tuned so you'll know what I mean

Yea

MKO Abiola: 'If the time is right, if the time is right.
And 'em it all depends on a lot of things.
I haven't been taking part in this
political process since, eh since 1987.
You need to know the people
You are working with.
And you need to know that.
A tree does not make a forest.
Like I said, nobody claps with only one hand.
There has to be so many hands.
But there is this general acceptance -
Yea there's an attitude of our people
That it's about time we had a leader from this
Part of the country too.
That is part of the thing too, but I agree with that.
I don't know, see I'm thinking about it.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.
No, I have ventured a lot...'
