Suffocate

Burning in my throat, coughing blood and I can't breathe
Bitter on my tongue, words that beg you not to leave
Listing out your reasons and I'm sure they all make sense
Try to stop the bleeding but it's covering my hands

Don't you think I'd change it if I could? I'm trying

Bridges all on fire as quick as we can light the match
All go up in smoke with what little hope was left
Blowing out our voices trying to justify the pain
