War Clothes

The day is calm, I will not run
So I was warned, I will stand firm
You thought you had me, His word prepared me
I see you clearly now, my faith is stronger than ever
I wont go back, you had me rattled
But its not my battle but still I got my war clothes on
I got my war clothes on

My chest is covered in what is right
You tried to tempt me but its not my fight
My waist is wrapped by what is true
I belong to Him and wont serve you
My steps are ordered in His word, In Him I found the peace to endure
He's kept me calm, I'll overcome
Hand me my helmet and my sword
I got my war clothes on
I got my war clothes on

I will stay humble, I will stay meek
Pass this thing off to the king of kings
He's interceding, so ill hold my peace
I will fall back while my Lord increases
Grace and mercy they got my back
I'm fully armored from your schemes and attacks
But once again its not my battle but still I got my war clothes on
I got my war clothes on!
