And I find excuses made possible by confusion

Every word I say lately is something that is not
The world is making up stories
That make us feel better or worse I'm not sure
But it's the, "Government is bad and it's not my fault."
Falling asleep with the TV on
With the laughing in the background my dreams feel wrong
My life alive and the stage it's on
And the company's writing this song
Is how it goes sometimes
But I'll change my mind
