I Wonder

I wonder how a waterdrop forms
Around something very small
And gains enough weight to fall

I imagine shapes of people appear
The more there are the more they look real
They start to move and act to each other

They've been all touched by light
Every bit's for a purpose
It's more a dance than a clockwork
More a kiss than a jigsaw
Afraid it might break
I leave the light on

I wonder at the bonds they form
That last a lifetime or not very long
For no obvious reason

I imagine them honest and fair
Everyone different but valued the same
Given a push where the climb is too high

They've been all touched by light
Every bit's for a purpose
It's more a dance than a clockwork
More a kiss than a jigsaw
Afraid it might break
I leave the light on
