The world's so judgmental, I'm grabbing my pencil
Cause it's so essential, these speeches be so presidential
Just give me my credit, this shit is authentic
Ain't no need to check my credentials
Feasting without the utensils, I wanna be more influential
But keeping it simple, ripping instrumentals inside of the temple

Uh, be careful of the company that you keep
I'm a wolf, I do not run with the sheep
Scratched the surface to see what's underneath
Been so elevated, I can see under me

Writing stories and they feel incomplete
But it's poetry when all these words come to me
I was gifted and blessed from my blood to my genes
I'm the best overall, I don't need dungarees

A force to be reckoned with, of course you can second this
Seeking balance, too much of a perfectionist
I know there's a higher power looking over me and it keeps whispering extra tips
On how to maneuver without all the rulers, confining your spirit to measurements
This regiment crucial to my new development

Been losing attachments to people
I'm casting a sequel, these facts are as lethal
The fact is that it should be legal, I'm acting cerebral
Seeing that I do not actually need you
Cause now where I'm at is so peaceful
Without all the evil, I'm trying to get back to my people
A poet that's painting on black on the easel
But I'm wishing that it was equal, uh
