I remember 2012 like an old familiar morning
Kick it by the lake with nothing planned
It was easier back then, unaware of what was dawning
I didn't know the good came with bad

At the time I thought it's such a drag

In winter I feel the continental drift
It's been years in making
But recently I've noticed it
