The Crossroad

I've been feeling kinda lost as of late
Looking at the roads that I can choose
And I don't know which path I should take
Truth is I have way too much to lose
To my right the track it seems familiar
Bringing me nostalgia from the past
But to my left I can sense adventure
Fields with footprint markings in the grass

Soon the sun will disappear
Leaving me alone in the dark
Decisions must be made
Everybody told me just follow my heart
But I don't know which way to go
I'm getting tired of being stuck on
The Crossroad
Will I make it I don't know
But at least I'll be away from
The Crossroad

Oh I don't care about opinions
Don't care about the fame
Was on a road now it's a different one
But they both feel the same
It's a shame I've got to move but I can't
Stay here in the thick of it, now
Which path am I to choose, It's getting dark now isn't it

I've had this same ambition since I was a teen

Now I'm in the position to follow my dream
I'm working on what I've acomplised with the songs I've made
I'm picking a pattern to put it into a track and I gotta move soon it's getting late

Now I'm rapping on the track so be tactical when you clap
Overlapping the ones who'd say that I'm wack I got skill attached
To my name and it's on the map and my aim is to sing and rap
Two genres about to clash so get ready for impact
On one hand I know I'm fighting the odds cause I'm white as hell
On the other I should do what I love so I might as well
Make music for my friends and the ones who would wanna listen
I guess that making the risky decisions as a musician
Is how to attract attention the key to originality is being me
Could barely give a fuck what people see in me
If I get bored of my music then in a year I'll make some DnB
But right now I've been putting all my time into this new EP
But listen I still want the criticism
When you're done with this project tell me what worked and what didn't
So I can better my position getting better's the mission
I guess I chose the third path in the middile of my vision but
