Strange Times
Shit is wild man
I don't know how much more of this shit I can take
I'm going Stir Crazy, I swear I'm starting to think the world crazy
It really feel like God been saying fuck the world lately
It's a pandemic, stay at home you'll be ok
But after 40 something days the crib start to feel like a cage
They got everything shut down a nigga ain't making a dime
Writing raps, drinking beers and smoking joints to pass the time
You walk into the store dog that shit will blow your mind
Them shelves empty, you be standing like 40 minutes in line
This shit got niggas stressing, government got us guessing
I'm Fighting off depression scrolling through Netflix suggestions
This shit got me reflecting times I neglected my blessings
There ain't a lot of answers but I got so many questions
All this bullshit got me bout to flip like a num-chuk
Anxiety talking, I wish that nigga'd shut the fuck up
But, people out here dying I can't make it bout just me
Will shit ever be the same? Guess we gon have to wait and see
These are Strange Times we living in, They Strange Times
And I don't know if we'll ever be on the same side
They keep on saying that it's change coming but still the same vibes
Man, these are Strange Times we living in, They Strange Times
I watched a mob storm the capital building
This the same group that got mad at Kaepernick kneeling
Acting like they been oppressed and this some revolution
What you expect though? They all done got used to never losing
I wonder if they'd had been black how we'd see the police react
Probably would've shot em dead fore they had a chance to attack
Cause when we riot for our life they reaching for they pistol
But when you riot and you white they take a selfie wit you
A bunch of privileged crybabies having a temper tantrum
While the President just watched from the safety of his mansion
That man is like a cancer I'm so glad we cut him out
And impeachment is the answer cause we gotta shut him out
They say that dark nights lead to bright mornings
I hope that shit is right cause it's a lot of people mourning
So let this be a warning of what happens when we passive
You put hatred in the world and you gon get the same reaction
These are Strange Times we living in, They Strange Times
And I don't know if we'll ever be on the same side
They keep on saying that it's change coming but still the same vibes
