Dying Earth

I took the grace from an angel and she taught me to Fly
And so I flew I flew I flew I flew above the clouds into the sky
And the stars they spoke to me they said to Fly fly fly away from this dying earth

And so I flew I flew I flew I flew 'til my wings started to hurt
And then I fell I fell I fell I fell back to a dying earth
And I walked the ground with broken wings
And I sowed the soil with broken seeds
And I used my blood as water but I fell to a dying earth

Nothing grows but thorns making broken homes
And the dust is all that I breath
Nothing grows but thorns making broken homes
And upon a bed of thorns I sleep

And the stars they are ashamed too broke to even speak
About the earth that we made bleed yeah I fell to a dying earth

I took the grace from an angel and she taught me to Fly
And so I flew I flew I flew I flew above the clouds into the sky
And the stars they spoke to me they said to Fly fly fly away from this dying earth
