Tonight's Game

I Believe it was 1984
There was a club, I was at its door
She came to me I didn't know what for
What then she said left my jaw on the floor

We were inside and I asked her name
She said not now, let's play a game
If I knew what my night would then became
I would right there proclaim my fame

As the night went on, the higher got the suspense
She did everything until I lowered my defense
Only if I'd noticed nothing was making sense
But how could I with someone so intense?

When I regain conscience, I guess she was gone
In the game of this night, I was just a Pawn
No time for a rematch, it's the crack of dawn
But after all, how can I ever move on?
