I Need a Win

I need a win...
I'm tired of watching from afar and envying luckier men
I need a win, I want to laugh like I used to do, without a care for what was due

I try and try to find my queue, my heart grows weaker as I lose
I fall and try to get back up, for those I love but I have no luck

I wish that hope could cloud the pain
So that warmth may take its hold
I wish my strength could wash away all the blood that taints my home
I need a win
I need a win

Now, is it love or is it hope
Is it good deeds or just fool's luck
What do I need to get my win, I've tried it all and yet I bleed

I miss the days when it all felt right
I just woke up with time to smile
Now it's all hard and it hurts to breath
Sleepless nights have taken over me

No time to pout and no one to blame, if I fall there's only up I can go
I won't give up that isn't in my blood
I tried so long So what's a little more
It's time to get back up and walk
Hell, I'll run and

I'll shine a light on this cloudy sky
So that warmth may take its hold
I'll muster every ounce of strength
So that the pain is washed away
I'll take my win!

I'll take my win...
