I sit here by the Lake of Dreams
The surface of the water gleams
And nothing here is as it seems
I am far from Home

The wise man has brought me to life
For I had died
And after I have lived my Time
I'll be his bride

I have faced the Great Dragon
And I have won
After meeting him
I've also lost

It was him I had vanquished
With my blade so true
But he vanquished me
And he slew me too

I sit here gathering my strength
To duel the sorcerer at length
The man who fought my kin, so dear
He wears my face

From him, I'll wrest the Hero's Crown
And save my People from without
My Fury and my horse will bring
Our Glory and our Peace

I have spent in my days
In doubt of me
It was only my friendship's faith
That saved

I was burned by the Great Dragon
His breath seared me
I will lead a second life
Right now

I'll wield my sword with light so blue
My coiling hair of richest hue
I'll be a legend to them, true
My People will love me

It's taken years for me to see
That there is more to this Story
My fate is twofold; now I'll be
Contented and Free

No one else can find my Destiny but me
I must heed the Call I hear within
Though my troubles have burned me, I'm now fireproof
And I will continue to Journey
