Means to an End

I've been wondering why I'm walking these streets
Still I've been searching for symphonical beats
And I keep heading on down the road
To rest my old, weary, worn out bones

I can start a mess but end it just fine
Nothing fancy just a bit of a rhyme
And I'll keep kicking my guitar at my side
Out in the lights, screaming out in defiance

I keep on looking for a place to rest my sins
But again, I keep on pushing in and out and then it starts to begin
Yet again, I'm getting aincy, hell I don't think I can fight it again
It's all a means to an end

I'm keeping up and out ahead of good times
I leave behind all my sense of alliance
Ask me tomorrow where I'll be in my mind
And then I'll lie, and say I'm doing fine

Not moving slow but yet not taking my time
Not conforming yet but not out of line
I feel so lonely but alone I'm just fine
Pack up my mind, and send it to science

I keep on looking for a place to rest my sins
But again, I keep on pushing in and out and then it starts to begin
Yet again, I'm getting aincy, hell I don't think I can fight it again
It's all a means to an end
