Lord, You're my shepherd, You are my guide
God, You go before me, and by my side
You show me the right path, through the darkest night
You provide Your comfort with Your rod and guiding light
Lord, You're my shepherd, You are my shield
God, You protect me through life's battlefield
Before my own enemy You let me sit and dine
You provide a shelter, with Your own life on the line
Lord, You're my shepherd, You will provide
And God, You urge me to put my fears aside
You say: "Seek my kingdom, and I will meet you there
You shall want for nothing, when you're in my perfect care"
Lord, You're my shepherd, You are my peace
When I'm in Your presence, God, my heart's at ease
Surely Your goodness will follow all my days
From my very first breath till the time I fly away
To His house of glory
In my Lord's embrace I'll stay
