Gluttony

The haves and have nots tipping scale of money
Deprived of the luxury bottom line we're hungry
Imagine with the famine were starving its empty tummies
In a country that's a third world look how the income is
Misplaced was the anger, I got a new purpose
Found a new culprit, the glutton man on pulpits
Politicians, the Bank nigga it's a huge circus
And we're tired of the comedy truth hurts their nervous
Sick and were tired of being sick were tired
Toe to toe with these foes fighting fire with fire
Warm heart of Africa heroes never admired
But we still push the buttons to the day of the triumph
Ending is the same a battle we never win
All is fair in love and war the chances remain slim
Nails to the coffin another fall like autumn
Another clown another fraud running for office

The voice of the poet malnourished and weary eyed
Struggle to inherit the earth, I've been deprived
Immune to the pain the struggle to be alive
Because my hope is not strategy, but faith in the maker
Keeping sabbath holy the hope is to curse the traitors
Glory is in hope for the karma to those who break us
Action meets reaction in balance and zero favours
Because we're trapped and addicted, fact is we are victims
Locked in a path distracting us from victors
Moving out of sight, out of mind and out of wisdom
I don't hate the fact of having their self-agendas
As long as it doesn't leave the rest in dilemma
Blinded to the fact that we chose our own democracy
And hoping that the system will be based on pure honesty
Game is quite dirty, fraudulent, hypocrisy
It's never going to change no stop to this poverty
