Older and Wiser
Wiser, I've been this way from a minor
My dad showed me life in the Caucasus with bears, wolves, tigers
Showed how to survive in this climate
And now I'm a true survivor
With people around me when I was young, made me into a fighter
If it wasn't for my family, I wouldn't be here today
I've realised when I've matured, that they were paving the way
Instilling me with virtues and raising me up to now
Cos they were always there for me in that little Georgian town
Older and wiser, I've been this way from a minor
My dad showed me life in the Caucasus with bears, wolves, tigers
Showed how to survive in this climate
And now I'm a true survivor
With people around me when I was young made me into a fighter
I'm into my 30's now and I'm seeing the plan unfold
A product of my environment with a story left untold
And the ones who've lived told me I should take my chance with both hands
And do what I do best with a smile on my face
That came from my grandma
Yeah she gave me a sense of confidence
To always push for my goals some more no matter what was the consequence
We'd watch those movies, US ones from Hollywood but Russian dubbed
And dream of spending time out there to feel the sunny LA buzz
Ah I did it eventually and I thank her for my dreams
My grandad would've been so so proud cos he always knew what I could be
He'd be there then when I was bullied despite him working constantly
And he saved me from a drowning death he was great with so much modesty
Older and wiser
I've been this way from a minor
My dad showed me life in the Caucasus with bears, wolves, tigers
Showed how to survive in this climate and now I'm a true survivor
With people around me when I was young made me into a fighter
My mom is a great woman
The hardest worker in the whole house
The kindest one, would do it all the best I could ask for, no doubt
She gave me the love of comedy, as well as my love of music
She would always make things seem okay by making everything humorous
And my dad would work me so so hard from every morning on my guard
And now I get it, all the scars have made me turn so supercharged
Trained me like a dog, was climbing mountains on vacation
And now I'm turning into him, the greatest indication
Older and wiser
I've been this way from a minor
My dad showed me life in the Caucasus with bears, wolves, tigers
Showed how to survive in this climate
And now I'm a true survivor
With people around me when I was young turned me into a fighter
My dad showed me life in the Caucasus with bears, wolves, tigers
Showed how to survive in this climate
And now I'm a true survivor
With people around me when I was young, made me into a fighter
