Raised in a place where the living are dead
Numb to the core, but it's all in our heads
Pleasure or pain, we will all see one day
For now we suffer in this waste-world

They left us to die on a planet of garbage
Kept chasing the lie till it was beyond catharsis
I remember this place as something much more beautiful
Now our caretakers are vacant and the air feels unusual
I must tell my brothers to hold onto their wives
Make what they need right and prepare their own lives

This generation of hatred
Contempt and disguised
Nobody leaves their station while they taste the chemical skies
They couldn't see it all coming,
Now they stagnate in their shells
The luxury they sought
Could only ever bring us hell, so

Please take away our burdens
The nurturing mother has become another disease
She's burning the churches
To find a place to grow a lifeless seed

Now this is the kickback
We are living in deaths arms
No mercy from the vengeance
Of the ones we have betrayed
