bloom

Afternoon sunlight coming through clouds
Trees and their blossoms taking a bow
Songbirds are singing their favourite tunes
Reminding me that, in time, everything blooms

Too long I've been living behind four walls
Taking for granted nature's rewards
But now the same old window has a different point of view
Reminding me that, in time, everything blooms

I hope this feeling lasts more than two seasons
Cause I know that we will lose the flowers
I'm finding healing in this deeper meaning
It's more golden than the golden hour

Bloom

Maybe the autumn will lead me to fall
I'll close my window to weather the cold
But looking at lifeless branches i'll whistle a summer tune
Reminding me that, in time, everything blooms

Bloom
Everything blooms
