God’s complete Knowledge and Care (Psalm 139)

Lord, You have examined me
You know me
You know all that I do
From far away You know all my thoughts
You know all of my deeds
Before I speak You know what I'll say
Your omniscience safeguards me every day
Your knowledge of me is overwhelming
It is too deep for my understanding

Where could I go to escape Your spirit?
Where could I hide from You?
If I went up to heaven, You would be there
If I died, You'd be there with me too
If I flew away beyond the east
Or lived in the farthest place in the west
You would be there to lead me
Lord, You would be there to help me

I could ask the darkness to hide me
The light to change into night
But the darkness is not dark for You, Lord
Day and night are equally bright
