I start the morning being jarred awake
By a sonic scrape
From the glass screen
That harvests my tastes
And trades them with companies
Who use the data to sell me commodities I don't need

I grab my breakfast from a fridge full of body parts
And dart
To a place I hate
Producing more than my wage
The excess labor I bleed is collected from
Me to stock their cache

You normalized the absurdity
Hammered away at your urgency
And the heart you've misplaced
While you've been running the race
Is being weaponized for profit in a war we've embraced
Identifying the enemy
Disrupt the daily atrocities
A newfound tool for the trade
