Someone That Somebody Can't Live Without

I went to an empty place
That I thought was going to be full
I planned my trip in the morning
Under the covers and under the wool
And I even ignored the rain
Just like I would ignore a drought
I wonder what it must be like to be
Someone that somebody can't live without

Seeing the others walking around
Wasn't sure if they were looking at me
I tried my best to use other lanes
Tried my best to be collision-free
But desperation makes you transparent
Locking eyes would be the same as a shout
I wonder what it must be like to be
Someone that somebody can't live without

I don't go more than annually
It's no longer what I do for fun
I go in with the same exact hopes
And come back home sadly stunned
At one time I wanted to just write it off
Exhale twice and remain checked out
I wonder what it must be like to be
Someone that somebody can't live without

It wasn't hard to find everything
The directions had no blocks
But since your last visit
All my routes have been unorthodox
I know I'm better than ones with company
I know I could knock them right out
I wonder what it must be like to be
Someone that somebody can't live without
