The World Is What You Think It Is

You see yellow I see red
Look at all the books we've read
I've turned onto a new page
And find I'm lost in haze

There's things I can't unsee
I wouldn't and I couldn't be
We're the judge and the jury
Of everything we'll ever be

The world is what you think it is
So be careful what you think it is

Driving round in minivans
Or eating dinner out of cans
All we do is try our best
The world's a hotel, we're the guests

I don't know what path we're on
Walking around Walden Pond
I went there to get away
And find I'm lost for full days

There's new things that I see
Counting four before three
We're the judge and the jury
Of everything we'll ever be

The world is what you think it is
So be careful what you think it is

I don't what's at the end
Is it Eden it depends
I can't say with certainty
Were the path leads expertly

And maybe its just the journey
That lasts for all eternity
And all the things we do amaze
And leaves us lost for always
