O bibi share your azeem nawha, your daastaan-e-ali-e-akbar
O can you hear la ilaha illa, the call of akbar ba-ithn-e-mawla
Reverberating in every era is that athaan-e-ali-e-akbar
Husayn says ya ali taqaddam, O my beloved shabeeh-e-khatam
Fida upon you O ibn-e-zahra hazaar jaan-e-ali-e-akbar
Alayka minni salaam baba, this is the farewell kalaam baba
For we are reaching the culmination of imtihaan-e-ali-e-akbar
Husayn whispers in affirmation, you have accomplished your destination
But never-ending for Ibn-e-zahra is imtihan-e-ali-akbar
But never-ending for umm-e-layla is imtihan-e-ali-akbar
O our mawla you carried akbar, a feat greater than fath-e-khaybar
Husayn still has to bury asghar O nawhakhwaan-e-ali-e-akbar
They violated the psalm of david, the youth of yusuf, the face of ahmad
O what a disgrace for the ummah were qaatilaan-e-ali-e-akbar
He is a model, an inspiration, for every conscience in every nation
So come together today to enter the kaarwaan-e-ali-e-akbar
