As I get a little closer
I take a look back at the road to get here
And all that has been learned along the way

Prisons full but with rehabilitation no-one is treated
So Sadly they Surely Set to re offend once they Sentence is completed
Sweet Social injustice, there System has Succeeded
Real criminals in suits, need no trained eye to see em
Poison the youth, unity throughout us they try remove
Challenges we faced with, Corruption you can taste it
Communities stained by generational hatred
A country reigned by racists
Pray for Ukraine, but turn blind eye to the Middle East

As I was Forced to sit with my thoughts

Reflecting on my life and where I was now
Engaging in Conversations with strangers finding common ground
Faces from foreign places, our different Age race & phrases
Proved no barrier to on a deeper level finding relation
Forever in my graces I'll praise these exchanges
Helped me make it home, The traces still reign strong
With Sights I aim, knew had to adjust my view
Advice to aid, my escape from a perspective I grew so accustom to
But I ain't in the clear yet these grey days still looming
Think your pride just gon make way, afraid to say you foolish
Quit assuming to your issues there's always quick solution
Self doubt hate to Vacate, shit we all human!
Still im here wishing I could do & know better
But this script stay followed so I feel no pressure
Wont be loved by all some you'll just make so bitter
To try and please everyone, thats a fight with no winner
But to the ones I inspire can't stress my love for ya
