Like They Used To

Yea I grew up in them woods
Beagle dogs and tobacco
At a really young age 20 gage I was packing
Shooting rabbits on my own I was taught to get it done
Always eating what we kill stand tall never budge
But these kids these days turned soft
(What changed)
Got my ass tore up if I talked that way
Only thing I'd say Yesser yes ma'am
If I didn't I was finna catch a belt or them hands
Mad a man out a me thank God for my fam
Cooking purple hull peas with a smoked deer ham
Big pan of them biscuits and them homemade figs
Why These women can't cook like my grandma did
Naaaaw

They don't make em like they used to
Oh Lord how things have changed
Whole world turned soft everybody's lost
I think we living we living in our last days
There was a time when we raised em tuff never back down never give up
Let me tell you what i'm sick of this junk let's get away from that new new
Cause they dont make em like they used to
Naaaaaaaw
Naw they don't make em like they used to
Naaaaaaaaw...

Had an 87 ford I was locking in the hubs
Tried to bury it in mud hell I couldn't tear it up
Man Trucks these days yea they made out of junk
Everythang artificial there ain't nuttin built tuff
Guess we headed down hill snowballing with the snow flakes
Everybody turned soft looking like some ho cakes
Time to hit the brakes wake up before it's not late
Teach em how to hunt teach em how to cook a hot plate
Putting down the games make em take it outside
Gotta fix the problem now or buckle up for the ride
Gotta Tell em bout respect yea entitled ain't a thang
Time for change get away from all this bullshit today cuz
