Rubix

You want to blow your mind?
Well spend some of your time observing His word
Just holding it by the spine, inclined to learn it like nerds
His word is preserved so His servants on earth can learn of His worth
And worship with no reserves till we're returned to the dirt
Like boxers that won a championship purse, they're wanting to splurge
From caskets, we pass to life everlasting, that is berserk!
Specially when you factor the fact that that's undeserved
But that's what makes Him attractive,
Because that could never be earned
I'd have to be spurned, my soul burning like perms
In the lake of fire, while inside, the body is turned to worms
But that isn't my concern because in Christ I can stand assured
And my Dad is just that adamant that His squad is preserved
Thru immaculate birth He came to save this inadequate jerk
Who's standing 0 for 10 against the stone tablets of works
The same God that made men babble, scatter and disperse
Is the same God who's calling out and gathering His Church

We're living in a world that's complex
Like a maze, for some it's like a cage
Others are gunning for money just running in this rat race
And some will study, working with cunning trying to explain
How we used to unga bunga back in the days in a cave
While others claim were from another planet, out of space
And those are only slim slivers of the gamut of the range
Of the many ways we try to ascertain whence we came
To fulfill a deep need you're filling with fancy things
You got a God-sized hole in your soul!
That's how somebody came to figure
That not everything that glitters is gold
But lo and behold, this sort of rhetoric is old
King Solomon wrote it and then you read it in his scrolls
That it's vanity, vanity, vanity as it was told
But humanity's insanity's planning to be exposed
Like you lost your clothes, but what on earth is worth your soul?
So I hope you catch the plot, before the twist and curtains close
