(My dad was mostly in prison)
(He's the only parent that's alive)
(He made selfish and reckless choices)
(In order to help his kids be successful)
(And overall he carried a lot of weight)
(From his past experiences)
(He's still stubborn about letting go)

(And even feuds a lot with the fam and I)
(But he's trynna learn to improve)
(But overall I think that we both)
(Have some growing up to do)
(My mom died 2 weeks after my birth)
(My three yr old niece died this July, 2022)
(I dedicate this song to both)
(My mom and my niece)
