Estuaries

Estuaries, where a tide meets a stream
I think to myself: are you and i meant to be?
Let's meet in the middle, compromise with me
Can't shake the feeling of being lonely

Estuaries, mixing together in a body of water
Engulfing, liquid differences don't matter
They simply coexist, one into the other
I'm a walking paradox, lost soul, a wanderer

Can you handle it? because i can't
I'd ride your wave, just to catch the scent
Of saltwater, watch the sun set
Into the ocean's depth, picturesque

Photograph it, capture it, freeze time
I need more moments, swim, dive
Into your mind, i wish i could find
A way to see myself from behind your eyes

I know one thing: we are not of the shallows
We are of stardust, fireworks, breaking physics' laws
And in our same souls, we too have lost sorrows
Of happenstances, wasted tomorrows

I no longer crave for sand in between my feet
I'll climb altitudes that take me to higher feats
Lose myself in places i am deprived of oxygen, breathe
In the beauty of mountain ranges, you will no longer be able to reach
