Parts

You only want the part of me
That smiles and says, "Yeah, I agree"

I pulled my teeth out
You walked in and I was on the ground
With the pliers in my open mouth
I said, "I love you, can you help me out?"
Yeah, I can find other ways to growl
But these teeth have gotta come out

You only want the parts of me
That sit in your mind comfortably
(Come on honestly)
I'm flawed and I still feel
You seem to want the best of me
But yeah, what about my misery?
Come on honestly
Oh, are you testing me?

Whenever I stick my neck out
You say, "For God's sake, what is it now?"
And I'm more than just a fresh face
I've got problems that you can't pronounce
And I could talk your ear off for hours
But I know you're gonna zone out

(Don't run)

If I were you, I'd look away now
You only want the parts that won't ruin your day now
I pulled my teeth out anyway now
No more taking chunks out of your faith now
Anyway

So when you try to pick and choose in future
I might be of use
To you
Who knows?
