Moody Blue

I got one D, two C's, three F's and a B
My parents got broke up, but I'm still
On my feet so I'm cool
Got no grades in school
Yeah, well, it's nothing new
I'm in a moody blue

I work so hard that I can't catch a break
I'll work my way up, but for now I save up
So I'll work
Trade in all my trains
This impoverished game got me down
So I'll work on out

Well I worked at a magazine maker
And I ran newspaper routes
I don't get much, and that's okay
Because it's all at least progress
I hope some day my name will be in lights
For now I'll sing these moody blues

I got a job at the local plant
It pays pretty well, now I'm riding up the ranks
Hey hey
I never finished school
One credit short
It makes me in a moody blue
