We never change
We evolve but we never change

إنّ الحياةَ قصيدةٌ لا تنتهي
وَبِكُلِّ وَقتٍ ثَمَّ بَيْتٌ يُنظَمُ
وَإذا نَظَرتَ بِحِكْمَةٍ فِي نظمِهَا
شَطرٌ سَعِيدٌ يُؤْلِمُ
كُونوا سطورًا مِثلَهُمْ كَيْ تلْمَعوا
لَا تَخضَعوا. فَلَكُمْ حروفٌ تَهْدِمُ
لَا تَخضَعوا مِنْ أَجْلِ نظمٍ ظالِمٍ
بَل غَيِّروا كُلَّ القَصيدةِ. وارْسمُوا

وأنَا ببيْتٍ سوْفَ أكسِرُ وزْنَهُ
لِأَكونَ سطرًا للتَّحرُّرِ يُلْهِمُ
كلُّ الذِينَ تَحرَّروا مِن قبْلِنَا
مَا بِالقصائدِ غيْرهُمْ يتكلَّمُ
