It's been said to live your life like it's your last
Like, eat that apple as if it's your last
Savour the last bite
Be present
Be here
Enjoy it like you'll never be able to again
Go about your day appreciative and joyful of each and every little thing and everybody
And if you see tomorrow
Go about it in the same way
Cause any moment could be your going
So don't live life like you have all of the time in the world
To learn your lessons
To get it right
To love
To hate
To lose
To gain
To do everything in between and simply enjoy the journey
To prolong the process and wait
To hold that grudgingly cold shoulder and wear that crown of lowly ego and high pride
To resent
To be stagnant
It's almost as if they're saying to slow down, but speed up
And yes, both are wise words of wisdom
Yet how can you do two mutually arising opposites at once
Well if I know anything, it's that I know nothing at all
And that timelessness is the path to which I'm called
As long as I'm living as a soul, open to my reincarnated human purpose
I need not fear death, nor call it in, since I'm not living on its watch
As much as I'm living on the infinite

If you know, you know
I been seeing it, just now seeing it
Ain't nothing new, just something new
I think air and fire don't negate water and earth
They're not mutually exclusive to me
Everything is connected - on aether
Both, not either
Just as you can't have femininity without masculinity
But they're both whole on their own
The wisdom of one, always

There's really a thin line - if there is one, really
But there's still dream

Unless they both mutually exist across their imagined boundaries
