2020
These are just two cents hope it change paradigms
Cause what we've been seeing, got us really losing sight
But that's 2020 - the craziest year of our lives
What it really revealed is that most people are blind
That includes me truthfully I been in foolery
Got to read between the lines, word to the loose leaf
This pen and this pad are the weapons
Imma use to go ahead and address these elephants in the room
It's been around for awhile now it's center stage
Guess that's the only way racism will ever change
Supporting black lives just came a new fetish
But black lives mattered way before the org said it
We escaped slavery ain't going back
Some folks are still racist and some folks are mad
Cause it the past they made their business by owning blacks
Now these black owned businesses are on the map
Those are facts
People with our hue don't get treated like we human
It isn't just the men they even come at the women
Breyonna, Eliyah, George Amahd and too many other names to name
That's trauma in the brain can't expect us to be sane
Some think for us to win'll then some of them gotta fall
That means rioting the stores sending drama to their doors
In this seasons it's vital for us to see some peace signs
So it makes sense that some'll March like springtime
God made us all equal that's a fact we can't look over
I can have our own views though they may oppose you
But in this cancel culture, move wrong they might leave you
It make me afraid to say that I love white people
(Cause I love white people)
Bare with me for a second
Some are really racist some really don't really get it
I know alot of are bad but I know alot are caring
Not every redneck's a racist not every woman's a Karen
Not every fed is crooked though I know a lot are
So I be gettin nervous when I see a cop car
Next up man
Let's talk about this pandemic
Man this virus is sign that we all man isn't it?
It's a very real thing man I really I can't lie
Man I caught it and was out the whole month of July
Talkin body aches, night sweats and chills in the summer
A dry cough and fatigue that had me riddled in the covers
I still had my breathe but it was frightening indeed
By God's grace I bounced back with a lot of TLC
And all those times of solitudes is what I really needed cause
I finally got to see my hypocrisy and idolatry
Saw I don't really love Jesus like I think I do
Cause given the opportunity I'll break the rules
And while we on rules and rulers let's talk about it
It's a really touchy subject but there ain't no other way around it
4 years with Trump it's hard to say that we cool
But instead of slaying the dude, why don't we pray for the dude?
That's what our savior would do, you know honor those in leadership
Always give to God, what's God's and give to what Ceaser's his
I don't agree with him, we've all seen the antics
And loving the unlovable's a tough thing to practice
And being Christian ain't republican or democratic
It means seeking kingdom even when we place the ballots
Otherwise things will only get more divisive
Don't make America great, let's try to get it United
So if you're a black for Biden or if you're in Maga's favor all we can do Is pray
Cast your vote then cast your cares
In all the uncertainty man this one thing's for sho'
Whoever sits in office ain't gone take Him off the throne
Cause left and right both have a sinner at the center so
Yeshuah is the King both now and to forever
Understand
